Hobbies: I am obsessed with the news since I'm working towards becoming a TV reporter. I enjoy working out, riding crazy roller coasters, and watching movies on DVD. Hanging out with my friends here at UC Merced is probably what I enjoy doing the most.

Best experience at UC Merced: Living in Kern Hall the first year was a great experience. I made a lot of friends that to this day I still keep in touch with. Christmas and Halloween were some of the best holidays spent in the dorms.

Worst experience at UC Merced: Failing my calculus class was not fun, but I retook it during the summer after freshman year and passed with flying colors.

Favorite things to do off-campus: Eating with friends (especially when they do the cooking), going to movie theatres, driving to San Francisco, Modesto and Fresno.

In five year's, I'd like to be... A TV reporter at a small news station in California.

Words of wisdom: Being part of the first complete class here at UC Merced has been a great experience. There is much more to do, though, and new legacies also need to be established with completely different students.

My legacy at UC Merced: I worked at the university library for more than two years and I know that all that time has paid off because the library is slowly creating its identity as a place to study and socialize. As part of the Class of 2009, I am hoping to have future bobcats look to me as a form of guidance and even as a friend. Look for me in a few years so that I can inform you of what's going on in the world.
