Best experience at UC Merced: It's a tie between meeting amazing students, faculty, staff, and administrators and Delta Epsilon Mu winning the first annual Gauntlet Games. DEM!

Worst experience at UC Merced: Having to take the buses to Castle for science labs during the first semester while the Science and Engineering building was being constructed.

Favorite things to do off-campus: Swimming, playing ping-pong with friends, going to the beach or to Disneyland, hanging out with my Delta Epsilon Mu family, going to the gym, and coffee!

In five year's, I'd like to be... in my first year of residency. After graduating from UCSF Medical School in 2013, my goal is to attend a respected residency program to move closer to my ultimate goal of being a physician in a medically underserved community. I also plan on being a devoted husband and father.

Words of wisdom: There are many advantages to attending UC Merced. So many students have taken advantage of these opportunities by being involved in starting clubs, organizations, student government, Greek life, athletics, the arts, research projects, and community service programs. It's up to us as students to stay focused on the path to achieving our goals because these college years will help determine our future and career options.

My legacy at UC Merced: I am the first UC Merced undergraduate to be accepted to an allopathic medical school and I will be attending UCSF Medical School in 2009. UCSF Medical School Class of 2013!!!
