Eeek! Only two more weeks...(Chancellor Reception Pictures and Views of Campus)

Just a few weeks ago, the Chancellor held a reception for my graduating class in his backyard!

We all wore the white polo tees that we wore on the opening day of the campus.
TV News
If you've taken a look at some of my blogs you've noticed that I am infatuated with TV News. I thought I would dedicate this blog to share some of my experiences with different TV stations.
22 days til graduation!!!!!
I am sooooo stoked about graduating and so sad at the same time. My four years here at UCM have been nothing short of AMAZING and this month has been an extreme emotional rollercoaster. I feel so proud to have accomplished so much but feel like I'm going to miss all of my friends next year. The other day during my choir class I almost started crying while singing just because it reminded me of how much my college experience has changed me.
Senior Thesis
I am finally turning in my Literature thesis next week. It's a project I've worked on for most of the semester and I'm excited to see the end result once I finish the editing.
My topic was on Ron Arias, a novelist and journalist, and the changes in his writing when he transitioned from novelist to journalist and back again to novelist.
This project is also a personal endeavour because I am receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Literature, but I will be working towards a Master's in Mass Communications and Journalism at Fresno State this coming Fall.

How I feel UCM prepared me for Medical School
This week I received a few emails from prospective freshmen regarding how I felt UCM prepared me for medical school so I thought I would focus on that...
Countdown to Commencement Continues
It has been an exciting week to be a Bobcat....thanks to a group of very talented student leaders (esp by our Student Body President Yaasha Sabba, Efferman Ezell, and Sam Fong), we are the fortunate collegiate graduating class that has the honor of hearing First Lady Michelle Obama during our commencement!!! As a valley native, it is exciting to know that she will be the keynote speaker in a part of California that is not as well known as the coastal regions. UC Merced is definitely on the map now :) I cannot wait to hear her inspirational words during such a monumen
Post-Spring Break
Hey everyone!
Spring Break ended up being pretty fun. The drive home was not long at all, and the week off didn't pass too quickly. I was able to hang with the family and some friends from high school. I hadn't seen them since Winter break so it was good to catch up with them. I probably won't be seeing them until after graduation so this was a good time to chat it up.
Graduation 2009! Thanks ASUCM!
Michelle Obama will be the keynote speaker!!
What a perfect ending to such a crazy little ride here at UC Merced.
